It had been our dream that there should be a very good English Medium School of the M.V.P Samaj in Nashik. Horizon Academy was established in 1993 towards fulfilling this objective. With the co-operation and combined efforts of our Parents, Chairman and Members of the School Committee, P.T.A., Headmistress and members of the teaching and non-teaching staff, we have endeavoured to give the students the best of facilities & education. In this age of cut-throat competition in every sphere, we aim to groom children to ensure that they become the ‘fittest’ in order to survive and win the ‘Race to the top’ To this end, we impart them training in all fields viz. academics, sports, arts, encouraging participation in extracurricular activities and inter-school competitions, various scholarships and competitive examinations, music, dance and language appreciation, literature etc. to facilitate all-round personality growth. At the same time, we wish to inculcate in children a deep respect for Indian culture and values, regard for nature and environment as also develop empathy and sensitivity towards all living beings.
We use English as a medium of instruction because it is a doorway for acquiring the ocean of knowledge from around the globe. The world community is moving towards globalisation and is shrinking into a small village, each part of which is accessible through various media like Satellite Television, Computers, Internet etc. We wish to train students and provide them an updated knowledge in Information and Communication Technology, so that they become well – adjusted citizens of this world community. We believe that every child has the best in him/ her, which may often be hidden deep inside. We aim to draw out this best and mould it for a better tomorrow. We cater to all sections of the society so that everyone may avail of good education for his / her child. The school is a part of the prestigious M.V.P.
